Viessmann and Saigon Green Unblock Canals for the Environment
Pioneering advanced energy and climate solutions for over 100 years, Viessmann has been a leading brand in environmental protection and sustainable development. Throughout its operations and production processes, Viessmann emphasizes the three ESG factors (Environment, Social and Governance) to minimize environmental impact through remarkable initiatives.

In the Climate Champion campaign to celebrate Earth Day 2024, the Viessmann team, in collaboration with Saigon Green, is organizing a canal cleaning event at Rach Lang Bridge in Binh Thanh. Viessmann believes that every action we take, no matter how small, can make a significant difference for the environment.
The activity of removing water hyacinths from canals and ditches, combined with the collection and treatment of waste, aims to maintain the cleanliness and clarity of the water system. Although this process requires considerable time and effort, it has a significant impact, helping to restore a portion of the canal. The activity also helps to spread the dream of a green environment, flowing from small rivers to the vast ocean, and fosters a new consciousness among the younger generation.

As the official global climate partner of FC Bayern Munich, Viessmann regularly collaborates with the club to organize numerous events aimed at strengthening their climate-focused relationship. Notable among these is the 'Climate Champions' photo contest, which aims to promote sustainable living and resource appreciation to football fans in particular and the broader community in general.
After more than three weeks, the contest has received enthusiastic participation from a wide audience. Each action and small change in daily habits, such as using cloth bags instead of plastic ones, drinking from glass bottles or reusable personal water bottles and limiting the use of single-use plastic products, sends a powerful message of change for a greener planet.

Aiming for sustainable development, Viessmann continues to promote sustainable production throughout the entire supply chain. The Viessmann factory prioritizes the use of "green" energy sources and electronic devices to reduce carbon consumption. Digitalizing processes is also a focus for Viessmann, gradually creating smart, simple solutions while limiting the use of natural resources.
