FC Bayern and Viessmann: Successful climate partnership extended to 2026

Partnership extended to include the FC Bayern women's soccer team | Official climate partner worldwide in the areas of heating systems, air conditioning, fan technologies, water treatment and air purification | FC Bayern star Thomas Müller is THE face of the partnership as testimonial

Allendorf (Eder), October 6th, 2023 - Viessmann and FC Bayern are extending and expanding their existing international cooperation until 2026. With immediate effect, Viessmann will support the club even more strongly with its expertise and its solutions and products in the field of energy-efficient heating, air conditioning, cooling and ventilation technology: State-of-the-art Viessmann heating systems, air conditioning, cooling systems and fan technologies, as well as water treatment and air purification, will be available to FC Bayern as part of the climate partnership. In this way, both partners prove that top global sport and environmental protection are feasible together. A good example of this is the FCB Flagship Store on Munich's Marienplatz, which has been equipped with the latest technology from Viessmann.

Andreas Jung, CMO FC Bayern: "We are very happy to have once again expanded the partnership with Viessmann that has already existed for years. Now it is a global cooperation, and the fact that the topic of women's soccer has been added proves the many possibilities of FC Bayern.”

Thomas Heim, CEO of Viessmann Climate Solutions: "Continuing our cooperation with FC Bayern Munich and our commitment to energy and climate solutions is a matter close to our hearts. Together, we will thus continue to create living spaces for future generations in the years to come. We are particularly pleased that we have been able to gain THE face of the climate partnership with Thomas Müller and his incisive testimonials. At the same time, we are now also taking to the pitch with the women's soccer team: we want to accompany the FCB women's team on its way to the top of European soccer! As two strong brands in a partnership, we succeed as a team in increasing each other's awareness and recognition even further, especially in international markets - and in the course of this, our commitment and the fans' awareness of climate protection. All employees at Viessmann have made it their goal, their purpose, to become Global Climate Champions!"

As an official global climate partner, Viessmann not only ensures that FC Bayern itself equips the club with climate-friendly heating, cooling and ventilation solutions, but also aims to raise awareness among all soccer and sports enthusiasts of the many ways in which Viessmann's climate solutions can save CO2. By being able to use the FC Bayern brand rights and the LED boards that are clearly visible in the Allianz Arena, the company can now also draw even more effective attention worldwide to the positive opportunities for change offered by energy-efficient and non-fossil-based air conditioning solutions.
