Terms and conditions

The warranty specified herein is valid only and applies to Viessmann products purchased directly or from authorized dealers in Vietnam.

  • Instant water heater: Warranty 2 years according to the date of purchase or 2 years and 6 months according to the date of manufacture with electrical components. Warranty on pump and heating elements to 3 years from the date of purchase or an additional 6 months from the date of manufacture.
  • Storage water heater: Warranty 2 years according to the date of purchase or 2 years and 6 months according to the date of manufacture with electrical components. The warranty for the tank with the product is 7~12 years from the date of purchase or an additional 6 months from the date of manufacture, provided that the magnesium bar has been maintained and replaced periodically at least once every 2 years. Note: Viessmann will only replace once in case of a faulty water tank within a period of 7-12 years depending on the commitment period of each product.

Viessmann Vietnam Co., Ltd. will warrant the product under the following warranty conditions:

  • In case the product is still in circulation with the warranty card according to the product.
    • The warranty card must be presented upon request for a free warranty. In case of necessity, the customer needs to present the purchase invoice.
    • The machine serial number and model on the product must coincide with the machine serial number and model on the warranty card. The serial number on the product must be intact, not tampered with, patched up, or overlaid with any other object.
    • The warranty card must be intact, must clearly show the customer's name and date of purchase, not be duplicated, and not erased.
  • In case the electronic warranty product does not have a warranty card attached to the product.
    • The warranty will be based on the registration of electronic warranty information from customers, stores, or agents with Viessmann Vietnam.
    • During the warranty period, or outside the warranty period when the product is damaged, please contact the customer service hotline at 19009149.
    • Note: During the warranty period, in case the product needs to be transported to the warranty station for repair, the technical department of the warranty station will be the one to decide and in this case, the customer does not have to pay the cost of shipping the product. products from home to warranty station and vice versa.
    • Installation, operation, and maintenance must meet the requirements of current regulations and according to the user manual of Viessmann Vietnam.
    • The product may not be disassembled, modified, or repaired, except by authorized personnel/dealers.
    • Warranty excludes peripheral items such as shower heads, faucets, hoses, connectors, accessories, other consumables such as filters, piping, electrical installation/connection, and false ceiling replacement…
    • The warranty policy is not transferable or transferable to any third party.

The following cases are not covered by the warranty (service charges apply):

  • Labor & service fees will be applied to all repair or replacement services after the 2nd year.
  • Service fee will also be incurred in case of cancellation of a prior appointment with the Service Technician without notice or problems discovered not related to the product.
  • Product has an expired warranty, the fee will be applied when service staff comes to survey and replace parts.
  • There is no warranty card or invoice related to the product.
  • The machine number and model on the product are scraped, edited, and deleted, and product information does not match the financial invoice related to the product (if any).
  • Product damaged due to transportation, improper use, improper installation according to the manual, unstable power supply, incorrect use of 220V±10% voltage, weak/strong water source (according to The required water pressure specifications specified in the user manual), dirty, alum… or poorly preserved such as water, dust, dirt, animals, insects, foreign objects, etc. machine causes product damage.
  • The customer arbitrarily removes or changes the product structure or the repaired product is not at the administrative center or authorized warranty station of Viessmann Vietnam Company.
