Press Conference of Oktoberfest 2023 Event

Oktoberfest, the most anticipated German cultural event in Vietnam is back! During the press conferences held on August 29th (Hanoi) and September 14th (Ho Chi Minh City), representatives from the organizers announced that this year's beer festival promises to bring many surprises to those who love German culture.

The "GBA Oktoberfest" is the largest annual cultural event organized in Vietnam by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) in cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, the GBA Oktoberfest will be held in three locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, with several changes compared to previous years. For many years, the festival has consistently elevated itself to the level of the original Oktoberfest, taking place in traditional German beer tents, featuring imported German beer, traditional German music, and authentic German cuisine. It is also a fantastic opportunity for the German business community, Vietnamese businesses, and international businesses in Vietnam to come together, network, and connect with partners, colleagues, and friends.

This year, Viessmann Vietnam has the honor to become a Silver Sponsor of the GBA Oktoberfest 2023 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. On 14 September 2023, a press conference for "GBA-Erdinger Oktoberfest 2023" took place at the Nikko Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of Mr. Alexander Ziehe, the Managing Director of Viessmann Southeast Asia.

Responding to questions from reporters about the decision to partner with GBA in the event, he stated, "Even though this year the economy has faced many challenges and our company's marketing budget is limited, we still participate in the festival because it brings benefits to both sides. As participants, our employees, partners, and customers can come together and celebrate this occasion, while we also clearly showcase Viessmann's brand identity and origin."

This unique event will authentically recreate the vibrant festival atmosphere of Bavaria right here in Vietnam, within a large beer tent (also known as Festzelt), inspired by the original Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. The tent can accommodate more than 1,500 guests each evening and will offer a selection of premium fresh beers along with rich and flavorful German cuisine choices.
